This course is for those who have little or no working experience with ControlLogix systems and who need to interpret, make changes to, and/or draft Ladder Logic. Participants will identify the hardware associated with a Basic ControlLogix system, create and modify an RSLogix 5000 project, establish communications with a Controller, create and monitor Data Tags, document and search Ladder Logic.
Topics include: Communications, software menus, Digital and Analog I/O Modules, basic instructions, trouble-shooting features.
Labs include: Configuring communications drivers and setting IP addresses, configuring Digital and Analog I/O Modules, modifying and programming instructions (Relays (Bit), Timers and Counters, Program Control, Compare Compute, and Math) and analog scaling.
