Course Description
This course is an introduction to a wide variety of industrial sensors.
This course comprises topics involving: application and theory, contact limit switches, continuing through photoelectric, ultrasonic, inductive, capacitive and RF types.
Additional topics include: thermocouples, calorimeter sensors, pressure sensor, liquid flow sensor, gas flow sensor, oxygen sensor, carbon dioxide detector, light sensors, (photo detectors), photocells (photo resistor), infra-red sensor, motion sensors.
