Siemens 6RA70 Drive

This course is for engineering and maintenance personnel responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting drive systems that utilize the 6RA70 DC Drive.

Topics include:  Hardware configurations and required connections, “base drive” logic and self-tune the drive use of the available fixed function and programmable analog & binary Inputs/Outputs, troubleshooting the Armature and Field converters, use and operation of the 6RA70 regulators, function and/or use of the 6RA70 option boards, motor and drive data for proper initialization of the 6RA70.

Lab exercises include: Power section connections, parameter settings, drive initial setup requirements, self-tuning, analog & binary I/O configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnostic features of the hardware and software.
