Piping and Instrument Diagram (PI&D) Print Reading and Red-Lining

This is a two-day class designed to improve your ability to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams.

Topics include: the importance of P&IDs, identifying and describing the parts of a typical P&ID, using a legend sheets to identify symbols and labels used in a P&ID, explanation of instrument and control loops, redlining and marking-up a P&ID, submitting redlines and verification of corrected P&IDs.
