Course Description
This is a course introduces you to the hardware, programming techniques and advanced instructions used in a PLC 5 system. Students will interpret, make changes to, and/or draft Ladder Logic, create, and modify an RSLogix 5 project.
Topics include: DH+ network, software (program organization), advanced instructions (MCP, shift registers, sequencer, and PID), and data transfer.
Hands-on exercises include: Setting up a DH+ network, programming advanced instructions, programming messages for DH+ communications, transferring data between Scanner and Adapter Processors.
