Course Description
This course is for those who have little or no working experience with ControlLogix systems and who need to interpret, make changes to, and/or Draft Ladder Logic. Participants will identify the hardware associated with a Basic ControlLogix system, create and modify an RSLogix 5000 project, establish communications with a Controller, create and monitor Data Tags, document and search Ladder Logic.
Topics include: Communications, Software Menus, Digital and Analog I/O Modules, Basic Instructions, Troubleshooting Features.
Labs include: Configuring Communications Drivers and Setting IP Addresses, Configuring Digital and Analog I/O Modules, Modifying and Programming Instructions Relays (Bit), Timers and Counters, Program Control, Compare Compute, and Math and Analog Scaling.
