Course Description
This course is for engineering and maintenance personnel responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting drive systems that utilize the 6RA80 DC Drive.
Topics include: Drive and electrical safety, DC drive basics, drive hardware, drive diagrams, setting-up and commissioning the drive, optimizing and tuning the drive, operating the drive (via CUD, BOP20, AOP30), configuring the drives analog and digital I/O and feedback options, troubleshooting the Drive, use Starter PC software, and PROFIBUS Communications.
Lab exercises include: Power section connections, parameter settings, drive initial setup requirements, self-tuning, analog & binary I/O configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnostic features of the hardware and software.
